Rome GI specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all disorders of digestion. Gastrointestinal disorders include diseases of the stomach, small intestine, colon, pancreas, liver and gallbladder. A few common examples include peptic ulcer disease, gastroesophageal reflux disease, inflammatory bowel disease, pancreatitis and hepatitis. Our physicians are well trained in the procedural aspects of gastroenterology known as gastrointestinal endoscopy.

We offer gastroenterology/hepatology consultation and subsequent office visit(s) as needed. We evaluate all digestive diseases, including abnormal liver chemistries, pancreatobilary symptoms and disorders of nutrition and GI motility in addition to the more common GI diseases such as GERD, Ulcerative Colitis, Crohn’s Disease and Hepatitis C.

We also provide colon cancer screening services, including screening colonoscopy.
